CHARITY PROJECTS

Sudan International has developed a few independent projects geared towards addressing specific issues and also encouraged other community based organizations to work together. Following are a few of the projects of Sudan International as well as projects that are partners or supporters or that Sudan International supports...

Kongor Foundation is an indigenous international public foundation that seeks to promote advocacy for social, economic and cultural rights of the people of Kongor and Southern Sudanese in general and to revive and develop their culture, language, religion, traditions and customs while delivering humanitarian assistance and carrying out developmental programs.

Pareng Preservation Project (PPP) is a membership based nonprofit organization aimed at gathering and preserving historical information recorded through interviews with focus on the past events and present ways of life of the people of Pareng and their ancestral roots.

Rotary Club of Juba (RCJ) is being established to further the mission and vision of Rotary International (RI) in South Sudan, Africa. Rotary Club of Juba (RCJ) will be the first Rotary Club serving a self-governing country of about 15 million. Rotary Club of Juba (RCJ) is committed to bringing together renowned professional, business and civil leaders through weekly meetings and soirées that encourage friendship, fellowship and community service.

Sudan Economic Development Agency (SEDA) is a project of Sudan International in partnership with other organizations focusing on Sudanese issues in the United States to promote entrepreneurship and economic development among the Sudanese immigrants.

Sudan University is a progressive virtual think-tank institution created by the Sudan International and supported by amateur and professional researchers and scholars with deep interest and appreciation for Sudan.

Sudanese Women's Vision for Development (SWVD), is a membership-based international charitable organization founded by women and for women to provide advocacy and empowerment to Sudanese women in Sudan and in exile. Millions of women in Sudan and neighboring countries are suffering as a result of war and illiteracy. Sudanese Women's Vision for Development (SWVD) is stepping to the fore systematized with the empathy and capacity to bring forth assistance that will lessen anguish and provide hope and sustainable development in all matters of focus.

The Lost Boys and Girls Fund (LBGF) is an initiative of Sudan International dedicated to providing social, cultural and educational services to over 4, 000 Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan in the United States of America. LBGSF gives a voice to the Lost Boys and Girls by providing hope, healing and opportunity to start and live the American dream. The project advocates for 15,000 others who have found sanctuaries in Australia, Canada and New Zealand and many that are still stranded in Refugee Camps in Eastern Africa. The Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan were about 25,000, a number recorded by many humanitarian agencies in the late 1980s in Refugee Camps in Ethiopia.

Tutashinda Foundation "Tutashinda" is A Swahili phrase for "WE SHALL WIN" and Foundation, English word taken in the context of "GROUNDWORK" therefore, Tutashinda Foundation is a grassroots, cross-disability, civil, and human rights international nonprofit organization formed to empower people with disabilities by providing awareness, information and referral, skills and knowledge and mobility aids.
